About this car
Hemmings listing in Astoria, NY. Offered on Hemmings in Astoria, NY.
What the photos show
- black paint is glossy and straight from every angle, no paint money needed soon
- chrome grille, bumpers and hubcaps shine bright, no re-chroming bill coming
- black top looks clean and taut up, and the car also photographs well with it folded, no top replacement to budget
- tan leather front seats show only light creasing, no reupholster needed
- dash wood is glossy with a little wear showing, fine to leave, no wood bill unless you chase perfection
- engine bay is honest but tired — the air cleaner paint is peeling badly and there is surface rust and a parts-store battery, so budget a bay detail and paint touch-up
- trunk-lid paint looks swirled and dusty next to the flanks, a machine polish is cheap money well spent
- underside is never shown in the photos, can't judge it, so a lift check is still on you
Money: at $149,500 the outside and cabin carry the price; the scruffy engine bay is the one visible discount argument.
