About this car
1985 190D at GR Auto Gallery in Plainfield, IN. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- Red paint is glossy with only small chips and scratches in the ruler close-ups, so no respray bill is visible
- Driver's seat backrest bolster is torn through with foam showing and the passenger seat has a smaller tear, so budget for seat repair or covers
- Dashboard top is hidden under a carpet cover in the interior shots, so can't judge the dash top — ask what is under the cover
- Underside shots show dirty, rust-flecked suspension and an old cracked tyre sidewall, so budget for tyres and a suspension refresh
- Engine bay from above is never shown — only the underside of the engine and the trunk underside — so can't judge the engine bay
Money: at $9,900 the glossy paint helps but the torn driver's seat, cracked tyre and tired underside are immediate spend — fair only with that work priced in
