1965 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Coupe

• light blue paint looks glossy and straight all round, and the rear badge does read 220 SE, no repaint needed on what is shown
• chrome grille, bumpers and hubcaps look bright and polished, no re-chroming bill in sight
• cream seats look intact but the perforated inserts are grubby and stained, so budget for a deep clean or retrim to match the paint
• carpets look yellowed and marked, with MBZ written on the driver's mat, so a carpet set is money to allow
• engine bay lets the car down, with peeling black firewall paint, rusty small parts and blue tape on the battery, so budget for engine-bay work behind the pretty exterior
• trunk floor is bare black paint and dirty with a felt-covered spare, no trunk trim spend done there
• dash wood is not shown in close-up in the photos viewed, so wood condition can't be judged
• underside is not shown in the photos viewed, so rust underneath can't be judged

Money: no sold price is on file, and on visible condition the glossy blue paint and chrome are the value - the stained seats, yellowed carpets and peeling, rust-flecked engine bay are real costs to deduct before judging it against cleaner coupes.
