About this car
1985 500SEC at Sierra Classics & Imports in Reno, NV. Detail page title: 'Used 1985 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC For Sale (Sold)', stock #S169080. The dealer's own page marks this car sold — it stays listed under the SOLD banner for reference and is left out of the price averages. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- light blue paint is glossy and straight on every panel shown, no paintwork needed
- grey lower cladding is clean and unmarked, no respray or trim bill there
- chrome grille and trim shine bright, headlights are clear, no lens or replating cost
- flat-face wheels are clean and complete, no refurb needed
- can't judge the seats or interior, they are only glimpsed through tinted glass, so trim cost stays open
- can't judge the engine bay, it is not shown, so mechanical condition is unverified
- can't judge the underside, it is not shown, so rust stays an open question
Money: no sold price is on file, so judge it on the tidy exterior only — the paint and chrome argue for solid value, but with no interior or engine photos the price should leave room for the unknown.
