About this car
Hemmings listing in Beverly Hills, CA. Offered on Hemmings in Beverly Hills, CA.
What the photos show
- dark green paint looks glossy, but a large rust patch has eaten through the paint on the right front wing, so wing repair and paint money are certain
- more paint loss and rust show at the hood edge in the engine bay photos, so the rust is not just that one wing spot
- the engine bay inner wings and bulkhead are heavily corroded with crumbling yellow insulation, so serious bay metal work is coming
- tan front seats look intact through the hardtop window, but the rear jump seat is cracked with a patched, taped-looking centre, so rear trim money is coming
- the driver's door card looks stained and faded, so door trim money joins the list
- the brown soft top is shown up and looks taut from the side, and a matching green hardtop is fitted in other photos, which saves hunting a top down
- chrome bumpers look bright and straight, so rechroming can wait
- can't judge the underside — no underside photo in the sampled set, and with this much bay rust a lift inspection is essential before paying
Money: at $36,500 the glossy green flatters a rusty Pagoda — wing, bay and bulkhead corrosion mean restoration money on top of the price.
